Christmas comes early for the RMA Precision engineering team, Weymouth with the arrival of a new CNC Lathe.

As part of the RMA Precision Engineering ‘Growth & Investment Plan’ the Company were excited to take delivery of a new Goodway GLS200m. After a smooth install, commissioning and also training period the new machinery has bedded in well and increased machining capacity. The new Goodway GLS200m is a welcome addition and adds to the seven VMC [Vertical Milling Machines] and three CNC turning Machines already at the Weymouth production hub.

The new machinery is packed with industry leading technology and top quality components. The GOODWAY GLS series turning centres combine power, strength, and speed. With live tooling, C-axis capabilities milling and turning applications can be completed in one single machine!

Company director Richard Archer said: “We’re excited to receive the new Goodway GLS200m due to continuing growth, an increasing customer base and scheduling of orders. We’re using all the new capabilities and functionality on the Goodway. We’re now up and running providing quality part more efficiently for a variety of orders and we couldn’t be happier with the equipment. “
